By now we’ve probably established that I am hopelessly infatuated with all things old-fashioned. Which is why I’m a complete squealing fangirl when it comes to The Old Cinema, London’s only department store devoted to antique, vintage and retro furniture, fashion and gifts. They’re based in Chiswick, but for those not London-located, you can also order everything from antique apothecary cabinets to 70s-style lampshades online. And although they have countless items that I couldn’t afford even in my dizziest day dreams, more affordable home accessories include American advertising signs, clocks, cushions, telephones and cocktail paraphernalia.
