Oh, right. I need a mousemat.
But there aren't really many girl-friendly ones out there; they're either uber-girly (bright pink, with Purple Ronnie poetry on them), or they're Simpsony.
However. These pretty illustrated mousemats are just the thing. And there are loads of categories (including one for those about to rock). Reasonably priced at $15USD, too.
I can compromise my future if it's pretty. I quite liked Gattaca.
