Shop in the Spotlight: Bob By Post

A little while ago, I featured a rather lovely parrot corkscrew from Alessi. It might have been (oh so) pretty, but after trying to open a bottle wine with one last week, I have to say I wasn't that impressed. Design definitely won over function in this instance. But then I came across this plastic parrot version from Bob By Post.


Aren't they cute? They're only £7.50 as well. Sure it won't open your wine, but if you're a beer drink, you don't need to worry about that.

The World Is Your Oyster! In London? Need an Oyster card holder? This leather one is only £12.50. Bargain.


These book plate labels are lovely. I especially like the 'culinary library' stickers. pretty sure Miss Cay will love them as well. They're only £3.95 and they're a great way to personalise any cookery books you give as presents.

Lots of really great stuff in this shop and great value too. I'll be back!
