Cocktail Hour: Colombia Coffee Fizz

The Domestic Sluts got invited to a swanky beauty event at Bourjois earlier this week. We spent the evening trying out make-up and drinking tasty cocktails (supplied by yummy Starbucks). I asked them nicely if they'd give us the recipe for our favourite - the Colombia Coffee Fizz. It looks like a latte, but tastes much yummier. There's enough of a coffee kick to keep you wide awake too, so you won't fall asleep on the bus and miss your stop.

You'll need:
  • One pack of Starbucks VIA Ready Brew Colombian Roast
  • 1 egg white
  • 30ml whipping cream
  • 45ml dark rum
  • 1 tblsp Green Chartreuse
  • 1 tblsp simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water warmed into a syrup)
  • Cream soda
  • Mint sprig
  • Ice
Make it!
  • Froth all the ingredients (except for the soda and milk), with a milk frother for about 30 seconds.
  • Shake this mixture in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a highball glass. Or a large latte glass if you have one.
  • Top up with soda and garnish with a sprig of mint and a sprinkling of coffee.
  • Spent the rest of the evening being drunk and jittery with caffeine. Aces.
