Win! Bunny Vase from Hannah Zakari



On the 7th day of Christmas, Domestic Sluttery gave to me, a Hannah Zakari bunny vase!

I adore these bunny vases from Hannah Zakari. I've written about them before so we're thrilled to be able to give one large one away (worth £35). Unless I steal him and keep him for yourself, you might be lucky enough to win! And then give to me as a present, yes? No? Oh.

So before I sulk because no one is buying me bunny vases, tell us in the comments who you'd give this vase to if you won! Would you keep him for yourself? Give him to your lovely other half? You little sister? Or me? Tell us in the comments!

We'll pick a winner at random tomorrow so make sure you keep your eyes peeled. We've got another competition tomorrow too. As always, you'll get an extra entry for retweeting and we're keeping the competition open until midnight so everyone has a chance to enter. But! If you've already won a 12 days of Christmas competition, don't enter again! That's not very Christmassy, is it?

  1. If I won this I would give it to my sister-in-law! She is about to move into a flat by herself for the first time so would be a perfect addition to her new flat! And it would give Smudge the wonder rabbit good company when she is out!

  4. I would love this for my darling daughter to remind her of her childhood bunny, ( Charlie Wabbit ) who, sadly, legged it from his run one summers day, and was never seen again.

    As he shared the house with five teenagers, three cats, two hamsters and a guinea pig, I can't say that I blamed him. In fact, I often felt like doing the same...

    She's always on about getting a pet, So this way, she kinda gets the pet, and the house doesn't smell of straw and the other lovely 'animal scents'!

  7. I'd give this cutie to my mum in the hope it can cheer her up. She's had tough year with myself, my brother and my dad all having serious health problems at some point. Plus, her birthday is on Boxing Day so she inevitably gets a combined xmas/bday pressie from folks and that's not fair at all!!

  14. As much as i would love to give this beautiful vase to someone else, in all honesty i'd have to keep it myself. I have a bunny tea set that this would go perfectly with. I can picture my table now with my bunny crockery laid out, piled high with cakes, a hugh pot of tea and the centre piece.....an adorable bunny vase with hand picked flowers in it. Perfect!

  17. I would definitely give this to my mum - she has a thing about picking the first snowdrops every year and putting them in a vase, but it's soooo hard to find anything small enough for snowdrops - this would be perfect, plus mega cute!

  22. I would give this beauty to little Bella (my friends daughter) who will be 3 at the weekend. Her 'real' Rebecca rabbit has been *visiting friends in the allotment* for about a week now and it looks like she may have moved home for good.

    At least this new Rebecca rabbit could be kept in her bedroom, it wouldn't 'go off' visiting AND it would be a great pot for crayons until her mummy lets her have her own vase of flowers in her room.

  28. I would give this vase to my beautiful twin daughters who will be 2 next week! They would love this little guy in their room, with lots of pretty flowers in it. They love making bunny noises (boing, boing, boing) and jumping up and down! Would also remind us of our little bunny Jack who we had to rehome when we moved house, so it would be like having him back :)

She sacrificed her whole life to give me all the best and she's there whenever I need. So it's always good to remember her my love and dedication with a beautiful and simple gift like this.   37. Oh, I would love to say that I would give it to someone else but I would instead clutch it to my bosom and love it and hug it and call it George (to quote the abominable snowman when faced with Bugs Bunny. Tres appropriate, I do think.) because it is adorable.

  39. I would give this to a lovely girl called Kathrin, singer with the fine band Belleruche. I am having kittens at the thought of preparing my first Christmas lunch - including the first meeting of my parents and the Chap's parents for added stress. And now the Chap has invited Kathrin along for lunch too, because her family are in Australia and she'll be on her own.

    I can barely cope with having to re-order the joint of beef, source another chair etc etc let alone buy her a present. This would be PERFECT for her, as she is also super-cute and super-stylish.

I would love to say that it would be super gift for someone else, but once I had it in my hands I would probably fall in love with it and have to keep it with all my other special bits 'n bobs , , , could tell my son it was a secret agent bunny sent by the Easter Bunny to make sure he is eating all his fruit and veg :-).

  41. If i won this bunny vase i'd like to think i would give it to my little sister who turns 30 on Friday (twentyten softens the blow). She loves Miffy and i think this vase has a certain Miffy-esque quality to it. However, i feel i should keep it in my house because i love Miffy too and my sister has two little boys who might break the vase accidentally and i couldn't live with myself if that happened. I'll be happy to look after it in my house until the boys are old enough to be trusted with a beautiful object (they're 3 years & 6 months old so it might be a while).

    We have a cat who is the same shape as this vase (terribly lazy moggy) and who 'bunny hops' downstairs. We call her The Rabbit. The vase reminds me of her - I just love it!

  43. I would give this bunny vase to my twin brother for his birthday coming up soon. He would find this bunny vase totally cool and cute and think where on earth did this hail from!! Never will he have seen such cuteness!

    We are born in the Year of the Rabbit so this would make the most apt and original gift!

  44. I'd give it to my friend who is in Japan at the moment, considering she is Polish and doesn't get to go back to Poland and her family for the whole year and then has to come back to the UK almost straight after, I think it would cheer her up.

    And it would make me happy to see it in her room :D.

  46. I'd give this to my friend Lydia who we always called bunny at university because of her all in one fluffy PJs that made her look like a little fluffy rabbit. She's had a really sad year and I'd like to give it to her so that I can give her a new flower every week next year to keep in it and to remind her that we all love her.

She loves bunnies, and had a domestic bunny (yes, it lived in the house and was, more or less, toilet trained!) for many years but as she now lives in a school boarding house as a house mistress she isn't allowed to have any pets - this would be a perfect substitute!

    She isn't very well at the moment and is off work sick waiting for an operation on her back. I know she is feeling down with Christmas on the way what with her only receiving sick pay at the moment and worrying about being able to afford household bills let alone gifts! It also looks like she might be stuck in bed rather than joining us for lunch this year too :(

  85. I'd give it to my sister. When we were growing up I collected pig ornaments/toys and she collected rabbits. It meant no-one had to think very hard what to get us for presents! We both stopped collecting after a few years and just kept a few special ones. When we both had kids we stopped buying each other presents, I'd love to surprise her with this lovely bunny!

  90. If I were to win this I would give this to my best friend without a doubt. She is absolutely rabbit mad! No matter what the problem is just cuddling her rabbit makes her feel better and anything with rabbit print / shape is a win. I wouldn't just give it to her because she is addicted but also because I'm moving out of the country for a while and it would be something to look at and remember me by hopefully!
