Win! Calvin Klein Patent Platforms from Rubber Sole

It has been far too long since we had a competition. So, we thought we better make this one a really really good one. And what better to give away than shoes? Designer shoes at that. You're welcome. These Calvin Klein peep-toes from Rubber Sole are so sexy. They're worth £164.99 and they'll make your feet happy forever. We wrote about them a little while back, and we've wanted to get our grubby little mits on them ever since.

And now we have, we're giving them away.

(Wait, are we allowed to change our minds about this? No? Fiiiiiine.)


So what do you have to do to win? Simple! Just leave a comment below telling us where you'd wear these beauties OR, send us a tweet saying "Lovely @domesticsluts, give me free shoes!" If you do both, that'll give you two chances to win. And that'll be excellent. Please don't leave anonymous comments. If you do that, we can't tell you you've won!

The shoes go up to a size eight, and you can choose black or nude (depending on availability). Bigger than a size eight? Don't worry! You're allowed to pick another pair of shoes in your size from the Rubber Sole website so there's shoes for everyone. In the meantime, we'll get onto the shoe world about why they don't cater for ladies with larger feet.

You've got until 5pm on Monday 26th to get your entry in, and we'll announce the winner on Tuesday morning. If the winner hasn't claimed their prize by the end of Monday, we'll do the draw again.

Actually, I think they'd be perfect for my next burlesque routine, so I'd wear them on stage and show them to an appreciative audience.   10. I'd wear them to do my weekly shop. Making the most unglamourous chore seem like a fashionable trip out! Walking in heels will tone my legs as well to make up for the wonderfully rich food I'll be buying (inspired by your website in fact).

    Either way, those shoes are utterly fabulous and my toes are crying out for them!

  13. Ah amazing! It's my 23rd birthday a week tomorrow so I'd wear them out on that friday night in town - Soho maybe, or Tott court rd, some kind of swanky cocktail bar. In fact, you know more cocktail bars than I do, I should raid your archives!

    I've got a beautiful waterfall shift dress from H&M that I'm planning to wear and it's go amazing with the nude ones. But then so would the black... oh choices.

    Anyway the point is, it's my birthday so I should win! Right? ;)

With size 9 feet, I am sadly unable to buy any really fiercely foxy shoes (I used to have to wear men's shoes all the time), so armed with a lovely pair, they would probably go everywhere with me, though I would draw the line at wearing them in the shower! Sexy-mama shoes would be perfect for my rare-but-necessary lunch dates with my girlfriends, but even better for my little brother's wedding later in the summer! His feet are smaller than mine!   76. Do they really have a Rubber Sole? If so, they would make a fab alternative to wellies the next time I'm caught outside in a thunderstorm. Safety first, ladies!

    On hearing the first clap of thunder, I'd pull these on and go galoshing around in the pouring rain, with lightning bolts raining down around me, safe in the knowledge that if struck by one, my hair might look a little frizzy but the Rubber Sole would safely take the lightning down to the ground whilst keeping me and my lovely shoes intact.

I would parade to work like a proud peacock, strutting my stuff like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever watching men swoon at my feet. I would hear the sigh of women in the office as I walk to the photocopier at the beauties on my tootsies. This would all be repeated as I go home, felling likewise commuters with each step.   130. I'd wear these while doing my housework. Let me be more specific, I'm a stay at home mom and I don't get out a lot. My husband complains I never dress up or try to look cute for him although I really should because he raves about how I look. Who wouldn't wanna hear that right? So, I think it would make his fantasy to wear these sexy little numbers on some well manicured feet w/ something very skimpy and fun while managing to do some of his ironing of work button ups in front of him while he has our fav xtra dirty martini - sounds like domestic sluttery or domestic diva.

  141. Having size 9 Yeti feet I live in converse, trainers and lots of other boring manly shoes so I would wear shoes like this EVERYWHERE!!

    But I think they would be most appreciated if I wore them while waving my darling daughter off on her Malawi adventure. Even though (no doubt) I'm be sobbing at least I can look glamorous while waving my hankie.

    [On the fashion side of things I've never understood how all the catwalk models have to be very very tall, so quite obviously they're not going to have size 5 feet. So the designers do make big size shoes but the high street just doesn't remember there are more of us out here]

I'm moving to France in September for six months and I think these shoes deserve to be worn somewhere that is as chic as they are....so I would wear them as I (window) shop in Paris and strut along the Champs Elysees. They would help me fit in with the effortlessly stylish french women, and nobody would notice my wobbly french as they would be so entranced by my beautiful shoes!
