The Great British Bake Off has had me craving gingerbread all week (and I really want to try Alex's chocolate and Guinness gingerbread recipe). But rather than boring little gingerbread men, I really want to make Gingerdead men, with this cute 'n' creepy cookie cutter from Maiden.
Halloween coming up just makes the little skeleton guy even more fun. Once you've cut out your cookies, you turn the cutter over and stamp little skeletons into them. Then you can pour icing in the gaps for the perfect skeleton.
The cutter is £6 and they remind me of that fabulous children's classic Funny Bones. Sadly, that's not available on DVD (although you can buy a couple of Funny Bones videos on Amazon, like it's 1989). And you can always watch this YouTube video while you wait for your cookies to bake.
