Run! You're Wonder Woman!

Wonder Woman-inspired running costume, $150 (£95.81)
We've got quite a few runners on Team DS - Sara is a super-speedy athlete who keeps getting caught up saying hello to cats on her route. Frances and Alex, pre-baby English, wiped the floor with us when we did Race For Life last year. And I like running because my running app means I get to survive a zombie apocalypse every time I head out of the door.

Running makes you feel POWERFUL! YEAH! Unless you're just starting out, when it makes you feel knackered. So I absolutely adore these incredible custom-made running costumes from Helen McCarty's US Etsy Store ThisPrincessRuns. They're all made from proper running fabric to wick away moisture and keep you on the move, so you can fight crime or just run a bit faster.
Superwoman/Supergirl-inspired running costume, $150 (£95.81)
Helen specialises in awesome outfits inspired by princesses (Sleeping Beauty running shirt, anyone?) and kick-ass females. Want to be Supergirl? (Seriously, I can't be the only person who loved that dreadful film). Hell yes she can do that for you! And what's more, you'll have a detachable glitter cape!

With guns like that, you'd never take the cape off!
If you don't see anything you like, Helen will make you a princess, hero or villain outfit based on your specs. You could even be the evil Queen from Snow White! (Or colour yourself green and say you're Maleficent)
And I adore this Buzz Lightyear costume! Imagine doing a fun run like that - brilliant.
I would be that happy too if I met me dressed as Buzz Lightyear
ThisPrincessRuns is States-based, so I'm unlikely to order from her soon due to whopping great duty bills, but I couldn't resist showing it to you because - well, amazing! If you can't like without a Wonder Woman running outfit, or a glittery cape, then you should receive yours 8-10 weeks after you place your order.

KAPOW!

Thanks to a completely different Helen for the amazing tip

  1. YES. There will be no more running until I have a cape and Wonder Woman bracelets.

  2. I like the idea of running in a skirt, why didn't I ever think of that?

  3. The skirt has built in shorts - almost like school!

  4. Also, in the top photo, she looks a little like our Frances.
